About the therapist:

I work in private practice and as a counsellor with the LGBT Foundation. My core approach is rooted in Transactional Analysis and Integrative Psychotherapy, humanistic and relational frameworks which look at how the past might be living in the 'here & now'. Together in therapy we will learn about you, and what you need to flourish in the world; to live how you want to with vitality. I am committed to my own education on intersectionality, anti-racism, anti-oppression and decolonising my practice. I am fully insured and undertake regular supervision.

My background is in the arts as a professional musician; I currently maintain a creative practice alongside my therapeutic practice. The two 'worlds' definitely influence each other!

I live in South Manchester with my partner and two cats. I love cooking, board games and Joni Mitchell.

Getting Started

Seeking therapy can be a daunting process; I understand the importance of finding the right counselling relationship for you. I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation, or full length introductory session charged at half my usual rate. A consultation session will involve a conversation about you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to get from it - you might not know and that's ok! It will also be an opportunity for you to ask anything you want to know about me and my practice.

Sessions are completely confidential, and are available online or in person in South Manchester.
