Kasha Malewska
About the Therapist
My approach is relational, existential and trauma-informed, shaped by my training in Gestalt psychotherapy. I'm interested in the parts of ourselves we may have pushed away or lost touch with, and in what happens when we no longer feel able to fully experience what we feel, need or want. Shame can have a big part in this, and it's something I've explored both through my clinical work and through my interest in emotion and Gestalt theory.
That interest in what's beneath the surface isn't only clinical. Before training as a therapist, I worked in bodywork and taught yoga, and I studied philosophy at postgraduate level. These experiences still shape the way I work. I pay attention to the body as well as to what is being said, and I'm interested in what might be underneath the immediate issue.

I have experience working with clients navigating non-monogamy and power exchange dynamics, alongside the wider questions of sexuality, desire and relationships that can be difficult to talk about openly. I don't need any of this explained or justified before we can work with it together.

Individual sessions are £80 for 50 minutes. I ask that sessions be paid for by card before each appointment.
If you’re thinking about starting therapy with me, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. It’s a chance for us to talk a little about what brings you to therapy, ask any questions you might have, and get a sense of whether you feel comfortable working together. It's a low-key way to see how it feels, with no pressure to continue.
