This listing describes my ancestral patterns work (you can see my main listing for my generalist hypnotherapy approach)
In psychology and hypnotherapy, we may spend time looking at our own patterns and beliefs and understanding the roots of our behaviour. We may have inherited these things by absorbing them from the community around us or from our parents, grandparents, and so on. Working with ancestral patterns helps us to understand the roots of their behaviour and to release or transform the energy associated with these so we no longer carry it with us.
Much like when we find heirlooms that no longer fit our life and choose to repurpose them into something we can cherish, we too can take the energy passed down from our ancestors and transform it to something that suits our current life needs.
In this approach I draw on techniques from hypnotherapy, gestalt, parts therapy, psychosynthesis and transpersonal blended witchcraft. I work in a person-centred way to include my client’s spiritual beliefs, religion, and culture along with understanding the need to adapt for the neurodiversity of my client group.
