Kevin Franke
About the Therapist
I have worked extensively as a counsellor within the LGBTQ+ community, including 2 years of working at ELOP (an lgbtq+ community counselling service) and as the counselling lead for a 6-month counselling project in South London for the charity METRO. I also used to facilitate a group for gay men in recovery at London Friend/Antidote.
As well as working one-to-one in private practice, I facilitate reflective practice groups for staff in the homelessness and supported housing sector, and I work for MIND as a clinical supervisor to the staff at a North London sixth form college.

Putting it as simply as I can: I provide a confidential space in which you’ll be able to talk openly about what’s troubling you; a space in which to reflect, process, feel, and be yourself (or perhaps learn for the first time how to truly be yourself.) The confidential space that therapy provides can bring healing of old patterns and wounds. I have been where you are now: thinking about reaching out for therapy. It is my own wounds and periods of suffering and the growth that arose from those moments that have drawn me to this work.
I use a psychodynamic and person-centred approach. I work one-to-one with adults, offering in-person appointments at two Central London locations: Euston (Tuesday mornings and all day Thursday) and London Bridge (Tuesday evenings), and I also work online via Zoom. I see clients for both short-term and long-term work.
Our first appointment will be an opportunity to tell me what brings you to therapy, what your hopes and expectations are, and you can of course ask me any questions you have. We can then together come to a decision as to whether we can and want to work together.
I'm happy to have an initial (free) 15-minute phone call to find out more about what brings you to therapy, and for you to ask me any questions you may have.
