About the Therapist
As a lesbian counsellor, I know how important it is to have a therapist that welcomes all of you. I offer warm, empathic, non-judgemental counselling, where together we can create a space where you can heal and grow.Â
I offer face to face counselling in Clapham (SW4) and London Bridge (SE1), as well as online and over the phone.Â

I practice from a person-centred, pluralistic perspective.
Being person-centred means I believe you know best what you need. I will endeavour to understand your experience so that we can stand side by side as you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
Working pluralistically means I believe that there is no 'one size fits all' in therapy. I will work with you to co-create a therapeutic space that feels safe and supportive, taking on board your preferences to make sure therapy is working for you. This can include the option for working creatively through writing, drawing or sand tray.Â
As a counsellor I've worked for Islington Mind, providing counselling to people with caring responsibilities, and for London Friend, providing counselling to the LGBT+ community. Now I work in private practice online and in South London.Â
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent a decade working for mental health charities. This background means I have a thorough understanding of mental health difficulties and the impact they can have, as well as of the trauma and adverse experiences that can cause them.Â
If you're looking for a counsellor who can understand the challenges you've faced, I would love to hear from you.Â
