Linsey Bailey-Rowles
About the Therapist
I have a special interest in working with those who have a late diagnosis of Autism &/or ADHD. I offer an exploratory & non judgemental approach which supports the development of emotional regulation, wellbeing, self compassion & self worth.
I am neurodivergent, queer psychotherapist, counsellor, clinical supervisor, counselling teacher and mental heath trainer and a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society. Alongside my training and academic study, I bring my own life experiences into my practice, I believe this is to be an important element and contributory factor to the success of our relationship and a necessary requirement to understand, connect and empathise with another human being.

People access counselling and psychotherapy for many different reasons. Maybe your feeling unsatisfied with your life choices or maybe you want to delve deeper into who you are or why you react the way you do? Maybe your facing an emotional crisis and need a period of brief support or maybe your ready to tell your story and be truly heard for the first time.
Just as you are unique, so is my modality and approach which is always tailored to your specific needs. I am a humanistic & integrative counsellor, which means that I utilise different approaches in the sessions. I specialises in emotional regulation, chronic illness, self compassion / critique, self worth, self discovery, empowerment, familial narcissism and offer a trauma informed approach, connecting with the complexities of living with the effects of trauma and CPTSD.
