My approach privileges the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for meaning-making, healing and authentic change, within yourself and your significant relationships. Working collaboratively, I will draw on different modalities according to your unique needs, and I will endeavour to meet you where you are, with curiosity, compassion and acceptance. As a humanistic therapist, I believe in your capacity for personal growth and consider you to be the expert on your lived experience. I am interested in how your early attachments and experiences have shaped the here-and-now, as well as the impact of societal and cultural messaging, such as those surrounding gender and sex. Together, we can get to know how it really feels to be you in the world today, in your mind and body, and with all your different parts. Since qualifying four years ago, I have become passionate about the field of sexology. I am currently participating in further professional training to enable me to support individuals and couples with psychosexual and relationship concerns. I work inclusively and sensitively with people with marginalised identities who are likely to have experienced systemic oppression and even violence. I welcome all clients age 18+. I look forward to hearing from you.Warmest,Lisa (she/her)
