I'm LJ. I'm a person-centred therapist, which means that I genuinely think that you are the best person situated to know what's right for you. Sometimes we can get lost, and other people's messages can overlay our own sense of self so thickly that it's difficult to know who we are, but I don't think the way to finding your sense of self is to give you another person who thinks they know better than you how you should run your life. I've got a lot of experience in working with various individuals across the LGBT and/or queer spectra, including but not limited to various forms of non-monogamy, and kink relationships, and from people who are neuroqueer, cis, trans, LGB+ etc. For some people, this is why they come to therapy - to talk about those parts of their identity, and for others, they just want to know that the therapist isn't going to pathologise them for those parts of their identity. I'm invisibly disabled and have lived with my disability for 1/3 of my life, and I'm also neurodivergent.
