About the Therapist
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy through the College of Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis.
My background includes extensive work in a therapeutic community and crisis mental health services, supporting people experiencing very high levels of emotional distress. Alongside my private practice, I teach clinical theory and practice and act as tutor on psychotherapy training programmes.
I am a member of The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and the Association of Group and Individual Psychotherapy.

My approach is informed by psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Jungian analytic psychology, with a particular interest in the relationship between inner life and the social world. I am curious about how unconscious processes, early relationships, and wider cultural and political forces shape our emotional experience and sense of self.
Difficulties that feel deeply personal are often connected to the environments and histories we live within. Therapy can offer a space to think together about these experiences. Exploring patterns, meanings, and possibilities for change as they gradually emerge.
