About the Therapist
Hello! My name is Lucy and I am a Romanian immigrant Non-Binary & Neurodivergent Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with hands-on clinical experience in short-term and long-term psychodynamic therapy working with diverse and intersectional client groups, such as LGBTQIA+ individuals, economically disadvantaged individuals & neurodivergent individuals.
My primary approach is Psychodynamic, exploring the patterns of conscious and unconscious behaviours usually formed from childhood experiences, interwoven with Music, Art and Person-Centered Therapy in order to provide my clients with a holistic experience of therapy catered to their needs.
I have availability online and offer short-term (12 sessions) and long-term (open ended) therapy in English and Romanian.

Approach:
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy - using this approach, we can look at your past and your history of relationships together and at the patterns of concious & unconscious behaviours which have influenced and continue to affect both positively and negatively your daily life. Awareness is the first step in changing those aspects of your life which you do not wish to hold onto.
Influences to my Approach:
Art & Music Therapy - art and music is integral to the human experience. Using your artistic and / or musical practice within the confines of the therapeutic relationship, we can together bring those unconscious experiences to the surface and bring more clarity and definition to those which are conscious. Furthermore, using your art and / or music we could give a voice to your story, a personal voice which you may have never had.
Person-Centered Therapy - this approach champions you, the client, as the expert of your own story. It is your story and your story to carve out of the future, whatever this future you may envision looking like.
