About the Therapist
I offer psychotherapy using an integrative therapy approach. This blends humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive approaches and is tailored to your particular needs. Throughout my training we worked creatively, embracing collage, art and poetry. I have carried this over to my client work as I offer working creatively to explore mental health.
Psychosexual and Relationship therapy is a specialist type of therapy designed to address both sexual and relational issues for individuals, couples, throuples, polycules, and other relationship dynamics. Psychosexual issues may include erectile dysfunction, rapid or delayed ejaculation, vaginismus, pain during sex, compulsive sexual behaviours, or Chemsex. For many people, sex and relationship issues can be isolating as there is stigma around discussing these. Psychosexual and Relationship therapy with me is a space where you can explore and reflect on all aspects of sex or relationships that are affecting you. Together we develop a clear understanding of what is going on for you and your partner(s). This will allow us to create a plan to help address the issues you are facing, tailored to your needs and hopes.

My counselling training began in 2018, concluding with me qualifying in 2020. My course was integrative, based on Egan's three stage model. This included substantial training in humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive and pluralistic counselling theories, grief and bereavement, addiction, psychopathology, and group counselling. Throughout my training we worked creatively, embracing collage, art and poetry. I have carried this over to my client work as I offer working creatively to explore mental health.      Â
I was the Student Counselling Lead at Edinburgh College and ran the counselling service until June 2025. I worked full time at Edinburgh College between 2021 and 2025. I sat on the BACP Spirituality Division Executive Committee for three years, writing for journals and delivering CPD to therapists. I offered counselling at a charity supporting fathers and male care givers during my training and for a year after qualifying. I also provided counselling for a homeless charity for two years.              Â
I worked and volunteered for several years at a number of LGBTQIA+ charities in and around Edinburgh. I have substantial experience around mental and sexual health for Queer communities.
