 I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within their Ethical Framework. I am a Trainee Psychosexual Therapist finishing my MSc in Contemporary Psychosexual Therapy, accredited by COSRT. I offer low cost psychosexual therapy for individuals, couples, and polyamorous relationships. I have experience working with neurodivergent clients, LGBTQIA+ clients, polyamorous relationships, and BDSM/Kink communities in psychosexual therapy, which underpinned by training. My practice is queer and neurodivergent affirming. I bring my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent therapist. 

I offer low cost psychosexual therapy for individuals, couples, and polyamorous relationships. Psychosexual therapy is a specialist type of therapy to address sexual issues such as, but not limited to, erectile dysfunction, rapid or delayed orgasm, shame, chemsex, or pain during sex. Psychosexual therapy is a place where you can discuss sex and explore sexual challenges in a supportive, safe environment. Together we develop a clear understanding of what is going on for you and your partner(s). This will allow us to create a plan to help address sexual issues, tailored to your needs and hopes.

Experience and approach:

My counselling training began in 2018, concluding with me qualifying in 2020. My course was integrative, based on Egan's three stage model. This included substantial training in humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive and pluralistic counselling theories, grief and bereavement, addiction, psychopathology, and group counselling. Throughout my training we worked creatively, embracing collage, art and poetry. I have carried this over to my client work as I offer working creatively to explore mental health.               I am the Student Counselling Lead at Edinburgh College, and I run the counselling service. Prior to this I was a full time counsellor at Edinburgh College for two years. I sat on the BACP Spirituality Division Executive Committee for three years, writing for journals and delivering CPD to therapists. I offered counselling at a charity supporting fathers and male care givers during my training and for a year after qualifying. I also provided counselling for a homeless charity for two years.               I worked and volunteered for several years at a number of LGBTQIA+ charities in and around Edinburgh. I have substantial experience around mental and sexual health for Queer communities.
