About the Therapist
I offer a dedicated, online therapy space tailored for personalised, one-to-one sessions. At the heart of my approach is a focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship through trust, empathy, and open dialogue. I specialise in helping men navigate challenges such as anxiety, OCD, PTSD, complex trauma, and self-esteem issues through evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR. What sets my practice apart is my ability to draw on my own experiences as a gay man and a father, using an informal style. I believe that authentic connection built from real insights can transform even the most challenging journeys into meaningful growth.

I have worked in mental health for over 13 years in various roles and services, ranging from primary care services such as Talking Therapies to secondary services, working in inpatient services. I qualified as a therapist in 2019 and have been in private practice since 2021.
Whilst I can and do work with people from various backgrounds, I mostly work with men struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, OCD & trauma, relating to their life experiences. Clients that choose to work with me are hard working, professional people who like a bit of banter on the side and are looking to overcome barriers to them achieving their full potential in life. The therapeutic relationship is proven to contribute to 50% of success in therapy and so I prioritise the relationship with my clients from start to finish. I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist and EMDR therapist; I also have training in other models to enhance therapy (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). My style of therapy is relaxed and informal, and always has a clear goal that we agree on collaboratively. I aim to provide my clients with the tools to overcome their problems and improve their relationships, whilst building self-esteem and confidence.Â
