About the Therapist
My aim is to not only listen but to walk alongside you on your journey without judgement. Though what you want to share may be difficult and times may be hard, my aim is to hear your story and together we may be able to make sense out of the chaos so you can eventually heal and grow. Acceptance and diversity are at the epicentre of myself and experience. Diversity in experiences, thoughts, fears and self and the acceptance that goes with it. I aim to provide you with a transparent and non-judgemental space that is safe so you can start your own journey. Â

I often with long-term clients facing issues with depression, anxiety, feeling lost, addiction and trauma (from CPTSD to Cumulative PTSD). I have experience working with many different people, including clients who identify as non-binary, queer, trans, male and female and on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. I have worked with those who are victims of childhood, domestic and sexual trauma and it's subsequent effects. I have also worked with clients who are in substance recovery or who are finding the process challenging.
I am passionate about gender and sexual identity issues, I have also worked with conflicting cultural and religious issues especially around the Chinese, Buddhist and Christian community. I have extensive experience working with issues relating to sex, no matter where my clients are on the spectrum. I also have experience and training working with vulnerable and at-risk women. I am aware of the difficulties and challenges that some clients may face. I presented a research paper at the BACP Conference (2018) - The experience of Muslim men as they actualise-self as gay males and how this may inform counsellors working with this clients group. I have training and voluntary experience working in sexual health as well as HIV (newly diagnosed or living with) and the complications they may bring.
