Nicholas Rose UKCP registered Psychotherapist
About the Therapist
Nicholas Rose is a psychotherapist registered with the UKCP working with adults both individually and their relationships; offering personal therapy both Online and In Person in Chiswick and in Cirencester GL7. Since starting in private practice in 2006, his patients have brought concerns such as anxiety, panic attacks, unhappiness, loneliness, disappointment, depression, compulsive behaviours, sex and relationship issues, bipolar and anxiety disorders, neurodiversity, dyslexia and ADHD. Nicholas has worked with relationships, including gender, sexuality and relationship diversity (GSRD), where concerns have included infidelity, sexual concerns, fertility, parenting, violence and abuse, compulsivity, communication problems, separation, divorce, depression, mediation and loss. Nicholas is also the author of Better Together, a book about relationships based on his work as a relationship therapist. For relationships, Nicholas also offers intensive therapy where a set of sessions is delivered in a single day, this can be at the weekend, online and in Chiswick, Cirencester or at a location more convenient for you. This option is helpful for relationships in crisis and where busy lifestyles mean that organising regular weekly sessions is difficult. Nicholas started to think of counselling and psychotherapy as his career in 2002, his first six years of training and experience included working with severe and long term mental health concerns including psychosis and complex post traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) with torture survivors. Since 2009 his clinical supervisor has been the existential psychotherapist, psychologist, teacher and writer, Professor Ernesto Spinelli.
