About the therapist:
Â
My passion lies in assisting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community with various challenges, including self-awareness, self-acceptance, confidence-building, anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, self-harm, and transitioning. I have also experience working with clients in consensual non-monogamous relationships. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I understand the intricacies and struggles surrounding sexuality and gender identity. Whether your journey is smooth or rocky, I'm here to walk alongside you, offering empathy and guidance towards self-acceptance. In my practice, inclusivity and advocacy are core values. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals of all gender identities and sexualities. As a trans and nonbinary ally and a committed feminist, I actively promote anti-racist and inclusive principles. If you're seeking compassionate support in navigating issues related to sexuality, gender identity, or any other aspect of your life, I'm here to help.

Experience and approach:
I'm here to support you on your journey using a blend of humanistic, psychodynamic, and solution-focused approaches. Central to our work together is the theory of therapeutic relationship, which emphasises trust, empathy, and collaboration. Drawing from humanistic principles, I offer you a space of unconditional positive regard, where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Together, we'll cultivate a relationship built on mutual respect and understanding. In our sessions, we'll delve into your experiences and relationships, guided by the insights of psychodynamic theory. By uncovering unconscious patterns and conflicts, we can gain a deeper understanding of the factors influencing your current challenges. Through this process, we'll work towards healing old wounds and fostering growth. Using solution-focused techniques, I'll help you identify your strengths and resources, empowering you to envision and work towards your goals. Our collaboration will be at the heart of our work together, as we co-create strategies tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. Together, we'll navigate the path towards positive change and personal fulfilment.
