About the Therapist
I am a sex positive integrative therapist, both trauma-informed & trauma-aware. I am attuned to the possible role of trauma in a wide range of clinical issues; and trauma-sensitive, alert to the risks of experiential work. Now based in Brittany France, I work 100% online via ZOOM, so distant and time zones are no longer barriers to professional support. From our very first meeting we will put our heads together to agree a plan for you to go away and do. Working as a team, you are the expert on you! I help you see things already there. We stay as focused as possible to make the most of every minute together. We won’t just be talking about the struggles in life, but who, and what is important to you, and how you want to live your life will have a focus.

Sexual Urges, Thoughts & Behaviours
24/7 sexual access, hook-up apps & online porn can stretch our self-control capacities. Behaviours can be a way of self-soothing, or self-regulating emotions, of addressing attachment patterns, or related to erotic, or moral conflicts. I offer a non-pathologizing, sexual health approach to explore, and better understand your relationships with sex. Sex & porn addiction are controversial terms, often used to label consensual variations of healthy sexual health, self-identity & well-being. If your sexual urges, thoughts & behaviours feel out of control - then its a problem. If the consequences of these stop you living the best life possible - then its a problem.
Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity (GSDR)
GSRD outside of the perceived standards of heteronormative society, are frequently viewed as abnormal, broken or unhealthy. This can bring a felt-sense of stress, shame, and internalised negativity. At its worst, shame is the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing that we are flawed and therefore unworthy of love and belonging. (Brene Brown). I have lived & worked in GSRD | kink communities in Toronto, London & Brighton for over 30 years. I welcome diversity, and offer a sex-positive approach to enhancing your sexual health, self-identity & well-being.
