Peter Ryan Brixton
About the Therapist
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold an honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. With years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and addressing a wide range of issues, I bring both expertise and compassion to my practice. As an integrative therapist, I draw from various therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to suit your unique needs and goals.
I offer both in-person sessions at my practice in Brixton and online therapy for flexibility and accessibility. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
To help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation where we can discuss your hopes for therapy and how we might work together. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch—I’d be happy to answer any questions and look forward to connecting with you.

As an integrative therapist, I understand that no two clients are the same. That’s why I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to create a way of working that feels supportive and effective for you, that you are involved in. Whether you're navigating relationship difficulties, experiencing anxiety or stress, exploring identity, sexuality, or gender, or grappling with feelings of shame, particularly as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am here to support you with empathy and care.
My primary focus is on building a genuine, trusting relationship with you. I aim to accompany you on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and meaningful change. In our work together, I offer a warm, honest, and confidential space—a safe haven free from judgement. This is a place where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and concerns openly, with the assurance that you will be met with understanding and respect.
Everyone’s story is unique, and I am here to support you as you navigate yours. Let’s work together to uncover greater self-awareness and empowerment, helping you move toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

My standard fee is £70 per session (50 minutes). I also offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for individuals who may require a reduced rate. I believe in making therapy accessible and am happy to discuss this further if needed.
