Pip Old
About the Therapist
Hi, my name is Pip. I am an integrative and relational LGBTQIA+ affirmative and neuro-affirmative counsellor.
I offer sessions in-person in Shoreditch and Queens Park, as well as online.Â
Working together
Taking the first step in starting therapy can be uncomfortable. Perhaps you have had differing experiences of therapy before. Wherever you are on your journey, I can offer you a safe, welcoming space, an invitation to work collaboratively, and an opportunity to connect with all parts of yourself.
Whether you are in crisis, dealing with a specific issue, anxious, depressed, feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected, I will listen to your unique story, and we will start where you are. We will work gently to find insight and connection, inviting challenge and change as well as support and acceptance.Â

Approach
My approach is integrative, meaning I integrate different psychotherapeutic theories into our work, tailored to your unique experience. Theories I draw on are attachment, psychodynamic, person-centred, trauma, body psychotherapy and GRSD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity). I work relationally, paying attention to the meaning and impact of relationships in our lives.Â
I offer short-term (typically 8-12 weeks), longer-term, and open ended therapy. Sessions are held weekly, at the same time each week.Â
Experience
I have experience working for an LGBTQIA+ non-profit counselling service, as well as with private clients. I continue to work for a low-cost therapy service.
