About the Therapist
I am a white queer, bisexual, trans, nonbinary, disabled, neurodivergent human. These labels are helpful and do not encompass all the pieces of me, I am inherently political and so is my work. I am a licensed therapist who has worked with many populations including survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence, people with eating disorders, people exploring their gender or neurodivergence, LGBTQIA2S+ people, and people having abortions. I have always loved hearing people’s stories, walking through life alongside them, and doing what I can to provide support. It's why this work is so fulfilling for me. I am an avid reader who loves spending their free time with their family. I have a loving partner who is a rock for me. I have a wonderful community of people who are always supporting my growth and opening my eyes to new things. I am an organizer who uses their time, energy, and privileges to create supportive and caring systems in my community while advocating for the same in society at large. My personal experiences along with my fellow comrades have created a passion for radical social justice work which can be seen in the ways I practice.

My approach is relational, trauma informed, anti-oppressive, anti-system, and I am guided by harm reduction, anti-imperialist, transformative justice, anti-carceral, and disability justice values. I believe there is value in many theories. I always start with a person-centered approach given the value I place on client’s lived experiences as the most important pieces to inform our work. People are going to have varying needs with varying accessibility concerns. I believe in shifting how I do therapy based on each individual. My practice is centered around serving people with marginalized identities. I look at how the individual may be impacted by systems, social interactions, and cultural upbringing to inform the ways that healing and a growth journey might look for an individual.Â
I started my counseling career working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and refugees. I have also worked in eating disorders, abortion care, and gender affirming counseling. I have spent many years learning and growing as a therapist and as a human. Both of which inform the way I show up in the room. I am committed to breaking down power dynamics and creating safety in our space together.
