About the Therapist
Are you finding life particularly difficult right now, or sensing that something just isn’t quite right—even if you can’t quite put your finger on it? Whether you're facing a specific issue like anxiety, low mood, or grief, or simply feel overwhelmed by life, therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your experience.
I offer counselling in South Birmingham and online, creating a warm, supportive environment where you can feel truly heard. Here, you’re invited to explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without fear of judgement. Together, we’ll work to deepen your self-understanding and support meaningful personal growth.
My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling, focusing on empathy, acceptance, and your lived experience. Where helpful, I integrate other therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to your unique needs. I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of issues including stress, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
I have specialist training in Gender, Sexual, and Relational Diversity (GSRD) and work in an affirming way with LGBTQIA+ clients and diverse relationship styles. My practice is also neurodivergent-affirming—as someone diagnosed in adulthood with Autism and Dyslexia, I deeply understand the need for a validating and non-pathologising space. I regularly support Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent individuals in exploring life on their own terms.
Additionally, I hold advanced training in working with complex trauma (CCTP-II) and often support people navigating the ongoing impact of difficult or overwhelming past experiences.
If you're looking for a therapist who offers real understanding, flexibility, and affirmation of who you are, please feel free to contact me.
