I'm Ricardo Goni, a Gestalt Psychotherapist and BACP-accredited Humanistic Integrative Counsellor based in the UK. I've spent over two decades working with people navigating some of the more complex and painful aspects of being human — and I bring that depth of experience, without judgment, to every session.

I work with anxiety, trauma, shame, jealousy, attachment and relationship patterns, compulsive or addictive behaviours, sexuality, identity, and creativity. Many of my clients carry a quiet sense of not belonging — and finding language for that, in a space that genuinely holds it, can be the beginning of real change.

Experience and approach:

My approach is integrative, relational, and non-shaming. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I'm interested in what sits beneath them — the deeper patterns, protective strategies, histories, and parts of self that shape how you relate to yourself and others.

I draw on Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed work, somatic and body-based approaches, Humanistic Music Therapy, and Bioenergetic Therapy. This means I pay attention not just to thoughts and feelings, but to the body, the relational field, and the parts of you that may have been hidden or silenced.

Sessions are weekly and online, moving at a pace that feels right for you. You won't need to justify who you are or educate me about your life — we can get straight to what matters.
