About the Therapist
As a gay man, I have much life-experience to offer as a therapist and clients who present as LGBTQ+.
I also have a lot of experience of working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, as a volunteer with the LGBT Foundation in Manchester.Â
I have also been a volunteer counsellor with MIND Rochdale.
I have a background of working in the media too, so I understand many aspects of that industry and I can support individuals experiencing stress or related issues within the media or any related industries.

My core therapy is in person-centred counselling which is a talking therapy and allows you to gain more clarity over your life, helping you to find answers to your own questions.
I offer a complementary 30-minute consultation online or over the telephone, to see if you'd like to work with me in regular therapy. If you would like to work with me, we would use the first session to explore what you are looking for in counselling and what you hope to gain from the sessions - leading to a deeper exploration of your issues.
I also have training in Cognitive Behavioural techniques.
