About the Therapist
I am a qualified, BACP registered integrative therapist offering online counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults (18+). I have worked with a diverse range of people, and welcome clients from all backgrounds - particularly those who are LGBTQIA+ and/or have diverse relationship styles. I do not pathologise, and recognise that your identity may not be the focus of your therapy. Where it is, I offer non-judgemental support backed by training and informed by my experience as a GSRD person.
Whatever the reason you are seeking counselling or psychotherapy for, I will treat you as an individual and will work to create a professional, secure, warm, and informed environment to support you to explore and navigate any issues you wish to bring.
I am queer, bisexual, kink-knowlegable, white, genderqueer, atheist, and am invisbly disabled. I live and work within LGBTQIA+ and kink communities, and my lived experience informs my practice and outlook on life. Outside of my work I support kink education in my local scene, I enjoy gaming, painting, heavy music, and a good cup of tea or coffee. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch. I also offer a free 30 minute video call if you would like meet me and discuss how I may be able to support you.

I am trained in an integrative approach to psychotherapy and counselling. This means that I have studied a range of counselling modalities and may draw from these to work with you in the way that best suits your needs. However, the core of my approach is person-centred. This means I am non-judgemental, accepting, and believe that you are the person who knows yourself best, even if you may feel lost or stuck in life. I will not tell you what to do, instead I believe in empowering and supporting you to navigate your situation and reach towards an outcome which is authentic and healing for you. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-knowledgeable, neurodiversity-affirming, sex-positive, trauma-informed, and non-pathologising. It is informed by awareness of how the intersection of our identities shapes the complex ways we may experience privilege and marginalisation as we navigate the oppressive structures in which we live. I am not a ‘blank slate’ in my practice - I value the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and my work is consequently informed by my lived experience as a GSRD person. I listen attentively and I may ask challenging questions. Engaging with therapy can be hard work and the process will likely involve some discomfort as we confront difficult material, but supporting your wellbeing is always at the forefront of my practice.

My fees are £50 per 60-minute appointment.  I offer a free 30-minute introductory video call to give you the opportunity to meet me, ask any questions, discuss what brings you to therapy, and help decide whether we wish to work together. There are no obligations to continue after this introduction – I offer it because it’s important that you feel comfortable with your therapist, and this will give you the chance to make an informed decision.
