About the Therapist
I am a queer, cis, non-disabled, middle aged white woman. I have experience of privilege and marginalisation. I have engaged in significant training in inclusivity and I will forever remain a student in developing the use of appropriate, current and affirmative discourse. My commitment is to remain open and fluid in my understanding of GSRD practice and to work in an authentic and empowering way with all clients.

I have spent a number of years working therapeutically with children and young people in the outdoors. I have found that a significant number of my clients identified as being a part of a marginalised group/s including neurodivergence, non binary and/or transgender. This heightened my interest in GSRD affirmative practice.
My own private practice has offered me the opportunity to further develop my range and experience of working with GSRD clients. I have an ongoing interest in developing my knowledge and understanding of a shifting discourse in GSRD competencies. It is my goal and commitment to offer inclusive and compassionate counselling and psychotherapy to my clients from all backgrounds.
