Sarah Bradbury
About the Therapist
Hi I'm Sarah. I have worked for many years in the creative world of dance, musical theatre and music and I have been working as a full time yoga teacher for the past 12 years. I began my training to become a Psychotherapist in 2024 and I have worked with many clients since then, presenting with various different issues. What I like, is working with people and this seems to be the through line of my working life. I would love to work with you, so please do get in touch.
I trained as a therapist because I felt my own life experiences could be useful when it comes to helping others. Life can be extremely challenging, I understand we are all on our own path, but sometimes we need someone to walk alongside us. I am a Humanistic Integrative therapist and I also have many years of experience working within the field of yoga and mindfulness as a yoga teacher. I provide an LGBTQ+ affirmative practice, but welcome clients from all backgrounds. I work both online and in person at my therapy room in south Wimbledon.
In our first session together, I will conduct an assessment and will be writing some notes. This is so I can get a better picture of your goals and gain more of an understanding of what brings you into therapy at this time.
I am here with you to explore your story and your life and to make some sense out of it all. Let the exploration begin...

I have my own experience of being a client in counselling so I understand how scary asking for help can seem. I want to reassure you that these feelings are valid and it’s ok to feel the way you do. Finding the right counsellor is important, as I believe the therapeutic relationship is where the healing journey begins. It was in therapy that I first felt truly heard, understood and fully accepted for who I am, and this is what I strive to emulate for my clients.
I create a safe and empathic space for my clients to share and explore themselves, their thoughts and feelings. I understand the need for different approaches for each client, as no one is the same. I am an integrative practitioner, which allows me the scope to provide an individual approach with specific tools and approaches that fit each client, their situation and their personality. I am trained in Psychodynamic, humanistic, integrative, Transactional analysis, Person Centred and Cognitive behaviour therapy. My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental safe space for my clients, collaborating together to help them make sense of their situation. To empower my clients to reflect and understand themselves in a deeper way. From this place, real change is possible. I am not a therapist who will sit back and let you do all the work, I am in this with you, I will be your explorer buddy.
