Having worked in UHub Therapy Centre Bangor and with The Rainbow Project, I have a strong commitment to providing safe, non-judgemental, and affirmative care for the LGBTQIA+ or what I often just term the Rainbow community. If you’re navigating coming out, exploring gender or sexual identity, or facing unique challenges related to your identity, I offer a warm space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and valued.

Experience and approach:

I began seeing clients in 2022. I trained in Bristol before moving home, and have seen a wide range of clients from all walks of life and and many varied stages of their life paths. I hold a level 5 Advanced Diploma in Counselling and am a member of the BACP our regulating and governing body.

I work mainly in a person centred approach and as such it is usually helpful to say that this means my style of counselling isn't about giving advice. It's more about helping the only expert when its comes to you. That of course, is You.

I approached the Rainbow Project as I am particularly drawn to work with clients who have questions around their gender and sexuality identity. Being a little older,  the language we have today to help us when we feel like we're neither fish nor fowl wasn't really widely known and so I have felt like something of a question mark at times.
