Sebastien Black - EMDR Therapist | Complex Trauma | Somatic Counselling (NCPS Accredited)
About the Therapist
My name is Sebastien Black (he/they), a queer, integrative therapist working online with clients across the UK and internationally. My practice is grounded in care, curiosity, and consent.
I support people exploring trauma, GSRD issues, self-worth, neurodivergence, and life purpose. Drawing from IFS, existential and humanistic approaches, and somatic awareness, I help clients find clarity, connection, and lasting change. I’m LGBTQ+ affirmative, kink-aware, neurodivergent-affirming, and experienced with polyamory, open relationships, and other non-traditional dynamics.
Alongside individual therapy, I offer affirming couples counselling, helping partners deepen trust, improve communication, and explore sexuality with compassion and respect.

I hold a BSc in Psychology (University of Sussex) and a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapy. My integrative approach blends relational depth, parts work (IFS), somatic therapy, and trauma-informed care.
I have over a decade of CPD, including specialist training with GSRD clients, survivors of abuse, complex trauma, neurodivergent adults, and couples. I work with anxiety, dissociation, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, and feeling “stuck.” I also support identity exploration, emotional integration, and building trust in relationships.
Whether you come for individual or couples therapy, you’ll find a warm, creative, and non-judgemental space where you’re welcome exactly as you are.
I welcome clients navigating anxiety, dissociation, ADHD, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck. I also bring warmth and creativity to those exploring identity, purpose, emotional integration, and the dynamics of trust and communication in their relationships.
Whether you come as an individual or a couple, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
