I have built up my therapist experience in gender identity and relationship work, over many years of seeing clients as an intern within trans specialist sexual health and wellbeing services and post-accreditation in private practice. I often work with clients in the process of navigating their gender transition, with a coming in and a coming out, which can be relational, social and medical. As a Psychosexual therapist I have considerable experience of working supporting trans clients preparing for assessment access routes to medical transition care and surgical pathways. I have a special interest in supporting the work to live well over the gender clinic waiting list time, managing surgical recovery, and on to the emerging connection or re-connection to the body exploring bodily self-confidence, sex and pleasure.
