My approach is integrative. This means I bring a flexible approach depending on the needs of each individual client. Many bring difficult childhoods and trauma histories that deserve time and space to be sensitively worked through and I draw then on Attachment Theory and more recent research into trauma and the body. Other clients may want to work in a more focussed way on one particular issue and that might benefit from a more cognitive approach. But all my work is based on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and being able to empathise deeply with each persons unique experience
