After finding my first counsellor on the Pink Therapy directory (back in 2016!) and having an amazing experience I decided to train to become a counsellor myself. I'm passionate about being congruent as a counsellor and making sure my clients feel safe, seen and heard. I also feel it's important to provide my clients with a holistic experience where their life journey and identity is embraced. I know how beneficial, from person experience, this can be.
I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP (https://www.bacp.co.uk).

I have previous experience volunteering with BeYou (in Reading) and Mencap and I have worked with clients who have experienced being homeless and clients who have been bereaved. I feel my person centred approach lends itself well to working with people from the LGBTQ+ community and, being part of this community myself, helps me to understand some of the difficulties clients may face. Other areas I can help with include: - ADHD - Anger management - Anxiety - ASD - Gender dysphoria - Self-harm - Loneliness - Stress
I offer an initial 30 minute session at £25. Standard session rates are £55 for 60 minutes. I also offer discounted rates, please enquire.
