About the Therapist
As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, Sofia appreciates the challenges and minority stress that can accompany living in a neurotypical normative world. Sofia is skilled at providing a space where clients can explore their gender identity and sexual orientation. All in an environment where there are no right or wrong answers, free from judgement or expectations.
She considers it a great honour to witness her client’s growth and development. Furthermore she has mentored students in further and higher education.

Sofia holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Counselling from Abertay University and a PgDip in Person Centred-Counselling from the University of Aberdeen. She is a member of both COSCA and the BACP, giving you peace of mind that her practice is ethically sound and supported  by the professional governing bodies for Scotland and the UK.

They are experienced in working with individuals who live with chronic health concerns including fibromyalgia and endometriosis. Sofia’s areas of specialist interest include neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD and autism, working in the LGBTQIA+ community, depression, anxiety, fertility issues, women’s health, and gender identity.
Sofia practices person-centred therapy as her core modality and is anti-oppressive.
