Stanislaw - Trusted Space Counselling

I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor registered with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) with decades of experience with diverse communities in London. I have travelled around the world and held an MA in International Relations. I understand some cultural, religious, racial, and economic challenges which many members of the LGBTQ+ community face alongside issues related to sexuality. Alongside my private practice, I also work with students from leading London universities, helping them to improve their mental health and reach their potential. I used to work as a volunteer counsellor at London Friend, one of the oldest and leading LGBTQ+ charities in London. I see each person as an individual; at the same time, I am deeply aware that there are some challenges that the LGBTQ+ community faces on a day-to-day basis, such as shame, discrimination, isolation and addictions, issues around same-sex relationships, self-esteem, to name a few. I am committed to professional development around relationships and sexuality by continuing my education at Tavistock Relationships to become an individual and couples sex therapist.
