My therapeutic approach predominantly draws on psychodynamic thinking which is a non-directive, open-ended approach that emphasizes early experiences and pays attention to unconscious processes. Sessions are led by you and what you bring to the space. In our work, we may explore your early relationships, trauma or difficult memories, dreams, thoughts, feelings and whatever else you would like to bring. Together we could draw links between your past and present, make space for feelings to surface and begin to create shifts in your inner and outer world. This would be in the hope of freeing up space, enabling you to move toward a more satisfying way of being in the world.
In my practice, I recognize the impacts of systemic inequality on the self and I work affirmatively with all gender identities, sexualities and relationship structures.Â
