About the Therapist
I’m based on the Isle of Wight, where I offer face-to-face sessions within a warm, friendly and private wellbeing centre.
I also offer online counselling, meaning location doesn’t have to be a barrier to accessing sessions. I can offer sessions via online video & audio call or audio call only (depending on your preference).
I currently have availability for new clients based in the UK (for adults and young people aged 18+).
My practice is a safe space welcome to all. I am neuroaffirming, queer affirming and driven to continuously learn about and reflexively consider cultural differences and the ways these can impact therapy.

Person-Centred Counselling:
Counselling and psychotherapy are also known as ‘talking therapies’. Sessions can offer you a safe space to talk about and explore topics on your mind without judgement.
Person-centred counselling is a humanistic approach to therapy founded by Carl Rogers. Rogers believed that everyone, given the right therapeutic conditions, can grow and heal.
Our sessions will be client-led, empowering you to be at the helm of the metaphorical ship we sail on together. But don’t worry - I’m still right there beside you!
I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life. Our sessions will therefore be uniquely tailored to you and we will go at a pace that feels right for you. My role is not to advise you or direct you, but to help you explore the things you bring to our sessions through your individual frame of reference.
Specialisms:
Neurodivergence is a passion of mine and a niche in my counselling and other professional work. This comes from lived experience and, as a neurodivergent counsellor, I uphold a ‘nothing about us without us’ approach when it comes to supporting neurodivergent folk in therapy. Being neuroaffirming means I work within the framework of the neurodiversity paradigm, as opposed to a medical model. Together, we can adapt our sessions to fit you as an individual.
Pleae know that you do not need to hold a diagnosis to work with me - self-diagnosed, self-identifying, late-diagnosed, and undiagnosed are all welcomed. Likewise, all neurotypes (including neurotypical) are warmly welcomed into my practice.
