Ulisses Belucio - Therapy South London
About the Therapist
I practice Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; offering open-ended (long term) or time-limited (12 sessions) Therapy, Same sex Couples therapy and Relationship Therapy across GSRD (Gender, sexual, Relationship Diversity). Â
The Therapeutic process explores rooted problems, traumas and behavioural patterns repeated through life. The Therapeutic process helps to expand awareness and self-knowledge so that we learn to recognise, understand and deal better with our overwhelming feelings and thoughts. It also stimulates us to discover different ways to deal with our issues, allowing us to experience different outcomes and develop a sense of empowerment.
I offer a calm, safe and confidential setting when applying my psychotherapeutic skills. I work within the LGBTQ+ community and people in finding ways of making more sense of their lives’ experiences and developing a greater capacity to embrace their own life history by understanding their internal belief system. This process focus on acknowledging their difficulties and gradually engaging with the opportunities to resolve and change some of these profound and limiting believes affecting their experiences in life.
Psychotherapy allows us to gradually become more present, engaged in our relationships and creating meaningful changes and experiences in our lives. My clinical experience includes working with adults and couples of different ages, gender, cultures, religions and backgrounds.
