Valerio A. Counselling
About the Therapist
Hi, I’m Valerio Alessandri – a professional counsellor and art counsellor trained at Aspic Milano. As a gay man, I know firsthand how powerful it is to be supported by someone who truly understands the unique experiences, joys, and challenges that come with being part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Growing up and living authentically in a world that doesn’t always make space for our identities can be tough. I’ve personally walked the path of coming out, navigating relationships, carving out an unconventional life and career, and learning to embrace my truth along the way. These lived experiences have shaped the way I show up as a counsellor—with empathy, openness, and a deep respect for each person’s individual journey.
In my practice, I offer a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ clients to explore who they are, process life’s challenges, work on relationship issues, and reconnect with their inner strength and authenticity. Whether you're navigating identity, relationships, coming out, transition, family dynamics, or simply looking for a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, I’m here for you.
My approach is holistic and creative. I draw on my background not just in counselling, but in the arts—I’m also a singer, vocal coach, and performer—and I use expressive tools like music, movement, or visual arts into the process, for those who feel close to that language.
I truly believe in the resilience, wisdom, and beauty that lives within each of us. If you're seeking support to move through a time of change, to heal, or to step more fully into your truth, I’d be honoured to walk that path alongside you.
You deserve to be supported by someone who sees you fully and welcomes you, not matter what. If you’re looking for support to navigate moments of change, or you’d like to explore new ways to live in harmony with yourself and those around you, I’m here to help.
