As a relational integrative psychotherapist, I help my clients by emphasizing the importance of relationships and their influence on one’s emotional well-being and psychological health. I work in the relationship between the therapist and the  client to facilitate awareness, growth, and positive change . Relational integrative psychotherapy is based on the idea that satisfying mutual relationships with others are necessary and that emotional distress is often rooted in patterns of relational experience . It can treat a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems . Together we can explore what is troubling you. I will sit alongside you and support you, in confidence, to explore any areas of concern whether they are sexual, emotional, self-worth, or even what your place in the world is about.

Experience and approach:

First meeting

The initial 50 minute session will be in person at one of my practice locations . It will cost £50, during which we will create a "contract" discussing what you would like to achieve in therapy and setting out our working boundaries. This sounds intimidating, however it is to ensure a safe environment in which we can focus on your needs.

Weekly meetings

I generally meet weekly with clients at the same time and place, for a 50 minutes session that will cost £95. If you require alternative arrangements, these can be discussed in our first meeting.

Duration

Our meetings will be for a standard 50 minutes.

Locations

I work from three locations, we will discuss availability during the complementary call.

Number of meetings

During the first meeting we will agree on an initial number of sessions and review this at the halfway point. This is a difficult question to answer, some people may only require 3 or 4 sessions to resolve a specific problem, whereas others may require an unspecified number of sessions to resolve more complex issues.

Blended Sessions

My working preference is that we have weekly face to face sessions. However should you prefer, I am happy to work online as long as we have face-to-face sessions at regular intervals. All of this will be agreed in our first meeting,

Session Costs

 

  • Initial Call (30 mins): Free
  • First meeting / Contracting (50 mins): £50
  • Weekly meeting (50 mins): £95

 

Cancellations and Non-Attendance

 

  • Prearranged cancellations with 48hrs notice are free of charge.
  • Prearranged cancellations with 24hrs notice are charged at 50%
  • Less than 24 hours  notice or non-attendance are charged at full price.

 

Invoicing and Payment

I will normally invoice you after a session and expect payment via bank transfer / credit card within 3 days. However this is flexible; we will discuss and agree during the first meeting

Professional support

I have Professional Indemnity insurance and partake in  Supervision. This is a confidential / annonaymised support system that helps to ensure good working practice  is followed.
