Simon Lyne
About the Therapist
I am an integrative psychotherapist with a core training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I am fully accredited with the BABCP. I am also a qualified psychosexual psychotherapist registered with COSRT and trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My work draws on CBT alongside other approaches where helpful, including trauma-focused work and parts-informed thinking, always adapted to the individual rather than following a single model rigidly.
I have been working as a therapist since 2014 and in mental health services since 2006.

In my work I aim to be warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I often undertake short-term work, though therapy with me is not about quick fixes but about understanding patterns, making sense of experience, and finding ways to move towards a fuller and more satisfying life. We will review the work together and continue for as long as it feels useful and appropriate.
Alongside my clinical work I contribute to professional publications in the field of psychotherapy.
In line with professional and ethical standards, I receive regular clinical supervision for my CBT, psychosexual and EMDR work.
