Stephen Hanscomb
About the Therapist
Stephen Hanscomb. As an Integrative therapist in private practice, I offer a holistic approach to my clients needs within the LGBTQ+ community. Working with clients who wish to explore issues related to GSRD (Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity), I aim to sit along side them and work through, often complex issues about themselves, stemming from their past and present.
We often look to find their authentic self, to discover who they really are and what they want out of life, looking into past and present suffering.
I work a lot with gay men who have issues around drug, alcohol and sexual/pornography compulsivity. Chemsex is a specific issue affecting gay men, who find themselves increasingly out of control and isolated, resulting in physical and mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and relational suffering.
