About the Therapist
I am a clinical psychologist and have worked in mental health settings for over 15 years - NHS and universities. I have specialised in providing psychological therapy. I have an interest in sexual minority mental health clinically and research-wise.
Currently, I work as a Clinical Research Associate at University College London (UCL), where I deliver therapy as part of an NIHR-funded trial on depression.

I have worked in various settings in the NHS, including South London & Maudsley and Camden & Islington. Services where I worked with people that have problems with "personality disorders", depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma. I've also worked at King's College London in their counselling & mental health support service. Later on, I shifted my focus to education and became a Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey, working across the clinical and counselling psychology doctorate programmes.

My main approach is cognitive-behavioural therapy. This therapy has the most research evidence of effectiveness in helping people. However, I integrate approaches depending on the person and problem, drawing upon person-centred therapy, schema therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy.
