Eunice Knowlton-Hung
About the Therapist
Hi there, I'm Eunice, I am an Integrative therapist using a combination of therapeutic strategies with a foundation in Person-Centred Therapy. This includes CBT, Gestalt, psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, and Adult Attachment theories. I focus on radical affirmation, self-acceptance, compassion, trauma-informed, and anti-oppression approaches.
I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma (and am working towards a Masters) in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of East London. I am a BACP registered member and have experience within LGBTQ+ community mental health services and with young people (18-21 years).
I'm a geeky, bisexual, polyamorous, kinky, queer, British Chinese cis woman in my late thirties on the asexuality spectrum. My family is originally from Hong Kong, but I was born in the UK, grew up in London and studied at University of Leeds.
I am also an author, events organiser, podcaster and project manager. I have been a community organiser, speaker, and facilitator with the UK polyamory and similar communities for around a decade and I'm currently a trustee with the UK Polyamory Association. I'm also a trained mediator, accredited with Regent's University, London.

Are you navigating questions around identity, relationships, sexuality, gender, race, culture, belonging, or some combination?
Maybe you're struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship conflict, family dynamics, burnout, grief, trauma, shame or the impact of racism, discrimination, and other systemic pressures.
Do you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward?
Perhaps you're feeling exhausted by the need to explain your lived experience to people who don't get it.
My role is to support you in exploring your feelings, needs, behaviours and problems in a safe, structured, confidential setting. The foundation of my approach is a therapeutic relationship based on compassionate, non-judgmental respect and offering empathic understanding so that you feel seen and heard.
Through psychotherapy, also known as counselling, I can help you to make positive changes in your life that enhance your emotional wellbeing and enable you to thrive. This can include reducing feelings of stress, anxiety, and overwhelm, improving your relationships, developing better communication skills, creating healthier coping strategies, building your self-esteem and resilience, and processing distressing experiences from your past.
I specialise in working with people exploring Gender, Sex(uality), & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) issues in a racially-aware context. I provide an environment which is kink, sexuality, and consensual non-monogamy/polyamory positive, and LGBTQIA+ friendly. I'm also familiar with neurodiversity and queer gender identity/expression. I’m committed to creating a space that’s welcoming to anyone from a marginalised identity, especially racially or culturally minoritised people.
I provide counselling for individuals, couples, family groups, and polycules of all sexualities and genders.
