About the therapist:

My background is in the creative sector. I started my career as a dresser backstage in West End theatres after leaving school at 17 with 3 O-Levels. I’ve worked in PR, as a motor cycle messenger, a dance studio receptionist, fiction editor and more! I have written plays for the theatre and BBC R4, and contributed to several short story anthologies. I also work as a creative mentor. I'm a later in life runner, I believe that exercise is important for my mental and physical well being. I am constantly learning and love adventure.

Experience and approach:

Existential coaching grew out of Existential Psychotherapy. The style is non-directive, we will work together on topics you bring to every session. I won't tell you what to do, I won’t bring in questionnaires or props, I will be with you, listening and working it out together. This is your time. While I may challenge you, I will respect you. Being responsible for and more aware of the choices you have made and are making, may help you to reassess your values and find your voice. Part of our work will be discovering what it is that makes you stand out from the crowd, personally or professionally. The past may come up, and we will work to see how this manifests in the present.

I work on-line but if you prefer in person this can be arranged. At the start of our work, we will agree on an open-ended or time-limited structure and work in weekly or fortnightly sessions, to best suit your needs. Once booked I will ask for 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session, otherwise payment will be due.
