I work online with individuals who wish to improve their existing relationships or bring new ones into their lives.  I work in particular with people on the asexual and aromantic spectrums, and with those who are questioning and wish to make sense of how they fit into these complex orientations

I have a lived experience of asexuality and aromanticism, so I know that it can be a difficult process to understand yourself.  Asexuality can surely be a confusing orientation.  It doesn't help that it is often unknown or misunderstood by others in society, and that there is a lack of representation in media.  When we don't see others like ourselves, it's difficult to make sense of who we are.

I believe the great number of asexual/aromantic micro labels demonstrates how varied and unique the experience of asexuality is to each individual.  While it can be helpful to find a micro label you identify with, it can also be confusing due to the sheer number and the complexity of the asexual experience. While we can now find asexual communities online we may still struggle to find those who relate to our exact experience

I believe the important shift comes from our own self understanding and acceptance.  I can help you understand what your sexuality means to you, and whether it works for your individual experience to hold micro labels tightly, lightly, or not at all.

You may experience anxiety, depression, or compulsive behaviours which mask what is going on beneath. You may find yourself in unsatisfying relationships, and not know how to make the changes to make your life better.  I can help you to deepen your self understanding, which in turn leads to behaviour change and enables you to bring the relationships that you need into your life.

I'm also passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals who may be autistic, ADHD, AuDHD or other ways of being.  I can help you make sense of how your neurodivergent self meets the neurotypical world that we live in

I welcome gender, sexuality and relationship diversity into my therapy room, and I am experienced in working with alternative relationship styles including ENM, QPRs and relationship anarchy.  I do my best to educate myself on cultural diversity and the many forms discrimination and privilege take place in society.
