Integrative means that I am trained in many different styles of psychotherapy and don’t believe in a single way of doing things. I may use creative arts, imagery, body work or role-play as tools to support personal exploration and self-expression. I can also support you to explore your past experiences as a way to help you to re-think your current issues.
I believe in working relationally, which means the relationship between us can be an important tool in supporting you to understand the other relationships in your life. I also believe that the social and cultural context in which we live has an impact upon our mental health, and it can be enlightening and helpful to explore this.
