Silja Turville - Neurodivergence and Identity - Affirming Therapist
About the Therapist
Alongside my private practice, I have worked in specialist services supporting adults experiencing addiction, bereavement, anxiety and depression, as well as providing therapeutic coaching within NHS settings.
My integrative training draws upon a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This enables me to tailor my approach to each individual, rather than expecting clients to fit a particular model of therapy.
As both a therapist and accredited executive coach, I can support you not only in developing greater self-awareness and self-compassion, but also in translating insight into meaningful and lasting change. Whether you are seeking emotional healing, personal growth or support through a period of transition, I aim to help you move forward in ways that are aligned with your values, strengths and aspirations.
I have training in acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focussed therapy, person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. I am also an accredited coach and can support clients in moving from enhanced awareness and compassion for themselves into taking new steps and making positive change happen in their lives.

My approach to therapy is based upon what is going to be helpful for you as you are now and where you would like to get to.
Externalising our struggles can help us reach greater compassion and understanding which will help us to face the challenges in our lives. This is because a healthy therapeutic relationship is key to therapy and through this we collaborate to understand and make sense of what is happening for you.
My approach is to work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your objectives and to help you develop a more understanding and compassion for yourself.
