About the Therapist
I’m Kane, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a warm, LGBTQ+ affirming, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, identity, relationships, and experiences without shame. Together we can explore your challenges, gain greater understanding, and work towards confidence, self-acceptance, and meaningful personal growth.
I also work with anxiety, depression, stress, relational difficulties, repeating patterns in relationships, explore and understand the different parts of the self, connecting to the inner child, neurodiverse clients (including ADHD and Autism), sexuality, and identity exploration.
My approach is integrative and collaborative. I begin gently and person-centred, focusing on helping you feel safe, heard and understood. As our work develops, we may explore deeper patterns, including how earlier experiences shape the ways you relate to yourself and others now. Ultimately, I believe therapy is bespoke to you and your personal experiences.
I believe meaningful change often happens through authentic human connection — being met by someone who is present, curious, and engaged with your experience. Therapy with me isn’t about being “fixed” or told what to do, but about making sense of your story and finding ways to live more fully and authentically.
My practice is based in Barking Riverside (IG11), and I offer both in-person and online sessions. Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and paced in a way that respects your emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.
