About the Therapist
Grounded in humanistic relational approaches such as Gestalt Therapy, Existential and Somatic practices. I help you tune into the "here-and-now," with new awareness that allows you to release the past and what no longer serves you, to create space for living fully in the present.
I am a trauma-informed counsellor with specialist training and experience working in the charity sector with individuals who identify as Neurodiverse, ADHD and Autism, have experienced childhood adversity (ACEs), domestic or sexual abuse and other forms of trauma. I work from an intersectional approach, understanding how your unique life experiences or neurodiversity play a vital role in how you perceive and experience yourself.
In addition to my therapy practice, I am a practising myofascial release therapist with over 16 years experience working with those who are experiencing chronic pain or trauma, both physical and emotional. I specialise in helping clients navigate and release trauma held in the body, that can manifest through chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, fatigue or anxiety.Â
