About the Therapist
Lee-Ann Sheehy (She/Her): Owner and Lead Art Psychotherapist
Queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent and geeky art psychotherapist, with extensive training and experience working with neurodivergent young people and adults. Originally from Ireland, but moved over to Scotland to pursue my masters in art psychotherapy in 2013. Qualifying in 2015 and working for a variety of charities, and roles within the 3rd sector and schools.
Then setting up my private practice in 2018, and stepping away from the 3rd sector in 2022 to fully commit my time to my practice and my passions that interlink mental health and geek culture. Offering a neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+ approaches that are adaptable and aimed to meet my clients where they are, and what they would like to explore.

Qualified art psychotherapist, with additional training in elements of play and digital play therapy. Integrated mixed method approach, trauma informed, we work under a client-led model, where our clients set the pace, using elements of narrative psychotherapy to explore their core stories, where they find themselves in others, and how they would like to unpick, process and explore the different stories or re-author them to suit where they are during and after our work together.
