About the Therapist
Are you feeling anxious? Stressed? Stuck? Struggling with relationships? I can work with you collaboratively, creatively and non-judgementally to explore how things might be experienced in new ways. In therapy, I will invite you to focus on your immediate experience to increase your awareness of where you are at, here with me, and to widen your choices going forward. I will encourage you to share what you experience as patterns from the past and, rather than interpreting, I will work with you to make sense of how things are now. I strive towards an anti-oppressive practice, and sometimes make mistakes.

As a counsellor, I work integratively and relationally from a core base of gestalt therapy. I trained at the Gestalt Centre, London, as well as taking courses at IDICO, Mexico and the Minster Centre. I have worked with the mental health charity Mind, and at The Gestalt Centre London, and now work in private practice online and in-person. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their ethical framework.
I have a background in academia (BSc Social Anthropology, MMus Music, PhD Sociology), have worked as a composer for film and theatre, and have experience of living across cultures. I work in English and Spanish.
