Dr Tilly Storr has been counselling since 1996, working with a variety of clients of all genders, sexuality and ages. For the past 10 years she has increasingly specialized in gender, transgender and relationship diversities, welcoming clients to her private practice in Cambridgeshire and also offering the flexibility of on-line counselling. She is a person-centred therapist, believing that clients have the resources to become well if they are offered non-judgemental support and respectful guidance.
Hello, my name is Hannah and I use the pronouns she/they. Through my experience as a client and throughout my training, I am keenly aware of the importance of building an honest and trusting relationship with your counsellor and part of this is knowing that your therapist will accept you. You may find yourself seeking counselling due to low self-esteem, bereavement, stress, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, depression, shame, self-exploration, or any number of other reasons. Through counselling I can help you to work on issues which are causing you anxiety or discomfort at a pace which is best for you.
I am experienced in working with a wide variety of presentations including: Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Health Anxiety, Phobias, OCD, Social Anxiety, Body Dysmorphia, Perfectionism, Low self- esteem, PTSD, Trauma and also Long-Term Physical Health Conditions. I utilise a transdiagnostic approach, integrating CBT models and formulations with processes that occur across disorders. This for example includes working with processes such as and Rumination and Intolerance of Uncertainty as well as painful emotions such as Shame and Guilt. Further to this, I have found it effective to incorporate third wave approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness
Hi there! My name is Cheryl (she/her), I’m a neurodivergent, queer, and feminist person-centred counsellor. I have been ethically and consensually non-monogamous in my relationships for almost 20 years and am part of my local polyam and kink communities. Before counselling, I worked for almost a decade in a Rape Crisis Centre in various roles, offering trauma-informed, person-centred and empowering emotional and practical support to survivors of sexual and domestic violence, which has heavily informed my practice as a counsellor.
